Tahini Sauce is a tasty addition to your Shabbat luncheon and Succot celebration. It is easy healthy, vegan and easy to make in advance. It’s great as a dip with vegetables or a spread in a Pita sandwich with Kafta and Tabbouleh. Click here for our other Lebanese recipes.
Makes about 2-1/4 cups depending on desired consistency
Ingredients
- 2 cups tahini
- juice & zest of 2 lemons
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 clove garlic, finely minced
- salt & pepper to taste
- water as needed
- 1 tsp smoked paprika (optional)
Instructions
- Place all ingredients in a food processor and puree
- If sauce is too thick, stream in water until the sauce is thinner and smooth
