Tahini Sauce

Tahini Sauce is a tasty addition to your Shabbat luncheon and Succot celebration. It is easy healthy, vegan and easy to make in advance. It’s great as a dip with vegetables or a spread in a Pita sandwich with Kafta and Tabbouleh. Click here for our other Lebanese recipes.

Makes about 2-1/4 cups depending on desired consistency

Ingredients

  • 2 cups tahini
  • juice & zest of 2 lemons
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 clove garlic, finely minced
  •  salt & pepper to taste
  • water as needed
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika (optional)

Instructions

  1. Place all ingredients in a food processor and puree
  2. If sauce is too thick, stream in water until the sauce is thinner and smooth

?????? One ingredient is tahini ——ok that’s nuts. The recipe is supposed to be HOW to make tahini.
